Endeavor in Documentary Filmmaking

January 13, 2006

This is some video I took with our digital camera while we were staying on Lake Insula in the Boundary Waters last spring. We’d been there for a few days and I think I for one was getting a little loopy.

And no, that’s not how I usually talk.

I LOVE IT!!! That was such a fun surprise to come upon tonight, dharma bum. It really makes me think about getting a video camera. The area is beautiful, and the moving picture definitely offers more than the still photos. Wow! Thanks for posting it. Hi to Katie.

glad you liked it… that was taken using the primitive video capabilities of our little digital camera. it was fun though… certainly took me back to that very nice spot where we spent those four days.

Are you absolutely sure that you don’t always talk like that?

    ;)

“go see a tree about a horse or something like that…” - mos def the high water mark for comedy in that 1:30 min of footage.

    “…the kitchen…” comes in second.

That does look like a sweet place.
