just a quick note-I was thinking about writing a review, but then didn't do it. therefore, I was paying attention to details I would not have otherwise. just a little correction-there were six trees on stage :)

the christmas songs that were played were mainly from the Low christmas album, many of which had never been performed before.

I've never thought this critically about how a show is composed--whether it's decorations, people, or the pace of the music. To see the structure is a gift, and to be able to share another level of experience with us, is too. I'm sure that every show I see from here forward, I will be offering it more attention. Thank you.

thanks to both of you for the comments.

it was funny, I've written one other review for HWTS and thought about writing one for Low before going. I decided I didn't want to. Didn't want to mess with trying to write down a set list, take notes. Just wanted to go and enjoy the show.

I had a few friends that couldn't make it, so this weekend I started jotting down some notes and next thing you know, 1000+ words about it. So, it's not the best review ever, but it is what is.

Greg-

Very good review. As I have been listing off all the things that made the show a bit eerie, I had totally forgotten about the trees. Well summed up too about what Alan was trying to say.

We ended up right in the middle of the main floor, right up front. It was acoustically strange but it was interesting to see everyone so personally. Also ended up being able to take a few crappy photos with my phone as a result.

Good to run into you after the show too - see you around.
